Tibi to Wear for Thanksgiving

When I first noticed Tibi, it was through the campaign above with the bone shearling jacket. I relate to her clothes as pieces I want to have in my wardrobe, especially with the upcoming holidays. I like the way their campaigns and lookbooks are styled and I like the casting.

Creator Amy Smilovic originally worked in advertising for American Express and developed the line when her husband was transferred to Hong Kong in 1997. She returned to Soho in 2000 after having success in Hong Kong with the brand. The line began as "four easy styles in hand printed fabrics" and was developed into an entire collection that now shows during New York Fashion Week. Smilovic opened a store on Wooster Street (which happens to be my hands-down favorite street in New York) and now has over sixty employees, partnering with retailers around the world.

I've started having people ask me where they can find the items I post about (everyone wanted those Art Basel swimsuits!), so I'm going to start including links. Above is Tibi's Shearling Rider Jacket, Viscose Crepe One-Shoulder Cropped Top, and Denim Off-The-Shoulder Tunic
