There are many outfits I would put a model in but wouldn't wear myself. In contrast, there are looks I would wear myself I wouldn't choose for a model. The concepts don't stray too far away from each other, but the shapes do. The cuts I choose to wear for myself are particularly flattering for my hourglass figure, which (most) models don't have. For a contrasting view of my approach, see into-mind's article.
So, let's say I have an amazing story and Chanel wants to participate. I've featured here looks that I would wear versus looks that I would choose for a model. I am torn on how I feel about the blue make-up mask that's featured throughout the show, but I don't necessarily think it's distracts from the designs.
It doesn't usually take me more than a few seconds to choose which looks I like the best out of a collection, but there are so many looks here (nearly 100 different silhouettes) it made it a bit difficult to edit down which are the best. This palette just speaks my language. I'm all for feminine, white, flowers, and pink. See backstage photos of the show by photographer Elise Toïdé here.
